Woordkuns was off line for a few days due to a SSL certificate that expired. Apparently it was installed on my machine 3 months ago, and when it expired the links to posts didn’t work and visitors got a message indicating that woordkuns is an unsafe site to visit. Havoc, if you ask me!!!
Just the night before all this havoc started, I scheduled about 8 posts. What was my first thought? I thought there was infected photos that I loaded with my posts and this caused the problem. I deleted it all – gladly there was no infected photos, but now I have to put it all back on the site again.
Back to the SSL certificate … apparently this is something that is part of what you get for your website from your service provider. It took a few days to fix, but hell … I’ve learnt something in the process too.
We are back online and you are welcome to read some of our past posts in the meantime. I cannot wait to share all the new content with you all. I will also like to have some feedback on what you would like to read more about. We currently have our Inspiration women section and we have an upcoming series about interesting people of the West Coast of South Africa.
I will have the first posts released later this evening and early tomorrow morning.
