As I get closer and closer to 52, I realised there are many things I still wanted to do and just never got to … like my Woordkuns / Word art blog that just never reached the potential I had in mind for it. Somebody who has a great idea and vision for Woordkuns approached me and although I was reluctant to let go at first, HAPPENING NEWS SA happened and it was easier to make to decision.
In the meantime, I didn’t want to loose hundreds of posts and decided why not create a website with my name and just transfer all the Woordkuns / Word art scribbles here, give it a new refreshing look and a brand new name: vat ‘n blaaskans met Surene / take a break with Surene.
And here we are: I still have a place where I can post my scribbles which I don’t really care whether it’s liked by others or not. I started taking up photography as a hobby and will most definitely have a dedicated spot for my photos and hopefully I will soon blog about my travels to Israel and Spain. I hope to do the Camino de Santiago within the next two years. Israel is much sooner on the calendar.
