No, this is not going to be a long factual piece of writing … I was already told my previous post about lockdown was far too long – coming from a man, that was! Anyway, this is just me trying to get my bearings together …
The most wonderful news to me was that I can go out for a walk, run (not) or cycling (no bike in sight) and even walk my dog. It has to happen early in the day, but hell it may happen!! All because of 22 000 people who requested it!
The bad news – we are still in Level 4 lockdown and can not go back to work! Stressful times, indeed!
I was sitting today and wondering what if Covid-19 wasn’t treated as Covid-19? What if Covid-19 was misdiagnosed? What if it was just treated as a really bad-ass flu virus? What if everybody just went about their days as if nothing out of the ordinary was happening? What if a pneumonia of unknown cause wasn’t detected in Wuhan, China? What if it wasn’t reported to the WHO Country Office in China on 31 December 2019?
What if we didn’t know that worldwide over 3.2 million people was diagnosed with Covid-19? Over 1 million in the USA alone! And 5350 cases reported in South Africa to date. What if we didn’t know that worldwide 228,057 people has already died due to Covid-19?
What if? We can carry on for the whole day asking what if questions, BUT …
… WHAT IF Abba Father is forcing us as a nation ~ NO! as the world ~ down onto our knees? God has called onto His people so many times in the past. He is now forcing us to listen, to seek His face, to pray and humble ourselves – refer 2 Chronicles 7:14. Each and every day there are people out there who do not listen.
People who do not go down on their knees to reach out to the only One who can help them … and they still do not realise that many things happening in this world, in the past and currently, was prophesied in the Bible, the Living Word of God? The rain was held back during the Australian fires, Africa had the locust plague and Covid-19 is a world pandemic. How much more proof does anyone need that God does exist? How much more proof does anyone need to know that we are living in the end times? It is not a fairy tale, it is real.
When will His people start to listen? When will we realise that He is the only One who are able to heal our country and the whole world?
He promises it to us, we just have to seek Him.
